Grass Guys Email System is a private, administrator-operated feature of Grass Guys Business OS. It lets our team send customer correspondence through an authorized Google Gmail account without sharing a Gmail password.
What the application does
The Email System helps Grass Guys Lawn Care & Mulch communicate with customers about service requests, estimates, invoices, scheduling, follow-ups, and opted-in marketing campaigns.
Authorized sending
Send approved messages from the connected Grass Guys Gmail account using Google's Gmail API.
Campaign controls
Use customer lists, send progress records, and unsubscribe handling inside the private admin dashboard.
Private admin access
This is an internal business tool, not an email service that members of the public can sign up for.
Account control
Connect, test, or disconnect Gmail from the secured Business OS Email Settings page.
Why we request Google permissions
During Google authorization, the app requests basic Google identity permissions (openid and email) and Gmail’s gmail.send permission. The sender address confirms the account used to send messages; Gmail’s API transmits messages the administrator selects.
Grass Guys Email System does not request permission to read your Gmail inbox, manage messages, or search your mailbox. It accesses Google only for identity verification and authorized email sending.
How authorized staff connect Gmail
- Sign in to the private Grass Guys Business OS admin dashboard.
- Open Email Settings and choose Connect Gmail Account.
- Review Google's authorization screen and approve the requested Gmail sending access.
- Return to Email Settings and send a test email before using the system for customer communication.
Only approved administrators may configure this integration. Customers do not need to connect their Google accounts to request lawn-care services.
Privacy, control & support
The connected administrator can remove the local Gmail connection from Email Settings and can revoke the Google authorization separately through Google Account connections. Details about information handling, security, data retention, and privacy choices are in our Privacy Policy.
