Welcome to Grass Guys Lawn Care & Mulch. We believe in straightforward service, transparent expectations, and the freedom to stop recurring service without being locked into a long-term agreement. Please read these Terms of Service before booking work or using our Instant Quote Center.
Effective date: October 15, 2026 · Last updated: October 15, 2026
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
Grass Guys Lawn Care & Mulch (“Grass Guys,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides lawn maintenance, landscaping, and related property services in Delaware. Our website is grassguyslc.com. These terms address public website use, estimates, recurring and one-time services, payment, property preparation, and company-administered digital tools.
When you request, schedule, or approve services after being given access to these terms, they may form part of your service arrangement. Any separately accepted written estimate or project-specific agreement controls if it conflicts with a general term here, except that no document limits rights that cannot legally be waived. Merely browsing this website does not obligate you to buy lawn care.
2. No long-term contracts — either party may end service
Grass Guys is a no-long-term-contract lawn care provider. Unless you and Grass Guys expressly sign a separate agreement for a particular project, you are not required to commit to a fixed season, minimum number of visits, or long-term service period.
Customers may stop or cancel future recurring service at any time. Grass Guys may also decline, pause, or discontinue future service at any time, subject to applicable law and any already accepted obligations. There is no fee solely for ending a recurring, no-contract service arrangement. We encourage customers to give notice before the next scheduled visit so unnecessary dispatch can be avoided, but notice is not a condition of ending future recurring service.
Cancel by emailing grassguys302@gmail.com, calling 302-657-1482, or using our contact page. We will confirm cancellation using the contact information provided. Completed work, materials specially ordered with your authorization, and amounts already earned under an accepted estimate remain payable as disclosed and permitted by law. If prepayment covered work we have not performed, any applicable refundable balance will be addressed under the confirmed estimate and the law.
Immediate service suspension or refusal may occur for unsafe conditions, threats or harassment, denied access, unpaid invoices, unlawful requests, or other material risks. Whenever practicable, we will explain the reason and communicate any outstanding balance or rescheduling options. We do not promise to maintain a specific customer or route indefinitely.
3. Scope of lawn care and property services
Depending on availability and the estimate you approve, services may include lawn mowing, trimming, edging, blowing clippings from appropriate hard surfaces, mulching, hedge trimming, garden-bed cleanups, leaf removal, seasonal cleanups, and other advertised property-maintenance work. Commercial maintenance, tree work, gutter cleaning, debris removal, and special projects are included only when separately quoted and accepted.
Standard mowing does not automatically include removal of bulk trash, rocks, toys, fallen branches, pet waste, invasive vegetation, hazardous materials, specialized tree work, stump removal, irrigation repair, or removal of material outside the quoted service scope. Requests for extra work may require a separate estimate and your authorization before any additional charge.
Unless a project quote explicitly provides otherwise, we do not guarantee weed-free turf, specific grass growth, landscaping survival, permanent drainage correction, or a particular aesthetic outcome. Conditions such as drought, shade, disease, pets, soil quality, watering, and prior lawn damage can affect results.
4. Scheduling, weather, and service changes
Weekly, biweekly, or other service frequencies describe our intended route cadence; they do not guarantee a particular arrival time or an uninterrupted exact-day schedule. Weather, saturated ground, excessive heat, holidays, equipment issues, emergencies, crew safety, property access, or route changes may require delay, rescheduling, or temporary suspension.
We may decline to mow grass that is wet or soil that is too soft when doing so could rut the yard, spread disease, damage equipment, or create unsafe conditions. We will make a reasonable effort to communicate material delays and resume service when practical.
We do not impose an automatic overgrowth surcharge solely because Grass Guys delayed an otherwise scheduled mowing due to weather or our operational needs. If a property has become significantly overgrown due to extended customer-requested skips, lack of access, or a changed service scope, we will discuss any revised work and price before performing the extra service.
5. Customer responsibilities before each visit
To help our team work safely, customers must provide reasonably safe access and, before the scheduled visit, take the following precautions:
- Remove or secure toys, stones, pet toys, hoses, loose wires, garden tools, furniture, trash, glass, and other movable objects from mowing and trimming areas.
- Pick up animal waste and secure pets, children, and visitors away from active equipment.
- Unlock gates or provide agreed access; identify locks, steep or soft areas, ground openings, unstable fencing, and known hazards.
- Clearly point out or mark low sprinkler heads, irrigation lines, drain covers, shallow cables, lighting, decorative borders, invisible fencing, and other equipment that may be hidden by grass or mulch.
- Identify property boundaries and obtain any necessary owner, tenant, association, or neighbor permission before requesting work on disputed or shared areas.
We may skip an inaccessible or unsafe section or the entire visit, without requiring our crews to move heavy objects, enter unsafe enclosures, or put people or animals at risk. No additional trip or cancellation charge is imposed unless it was disclosed and accepted in advance.
6. Yard obstacles, hidden hazards, and property damage
Objects left in the lawn can cause damage or become dangerous projectiles. Customers are responsible for removing visible movable hazards and disclosing or marking known concealed obstacles. Grass Guys is not responsible for damage caused solely by unmarked, undisclosed, concealed, or customer-left hazards that our crew could not reasonably identify or avoid while using appropriate care, except to the extent our own negligence or wrongful conduct caused or contributed to the damage.
Examples include unmarked shallow irrigation components, cables, sprinkler heads, garden stakes, hidden stones, buried edging, pet toys, or items obscured by tall grass. We do not assume responsibility for pre-existing cracks, deterioration, loose fixtures, or natural wear solely because work occurred nearby. We remain responsible for damage caused by our negligence or other conduct for which the law makes us responsible; no provision here waives those rights.
Please report any suspected property damage as soon as reasonably practical, with the location, photographs, and a description, so we can investigate and, where appropriate, coordinate with our insurer. A delay in reporting does not automatically extinguish rights that the law protects.
7. Underground utilities and landscaping work
Before excavation, edging that disturbs soil, planting, or other ground-disturbing projects, we will follow applicable utility-notification requirements. Customers should also disclose and identify privately installed or otherwise unmarked systems such as irrigation, low-voltage lighting, pet fencing, drains, and private pipes or cables, which may not be identified by ordinary utility marks.
Unmarked private systems can be damaged during otherwise careful work. Responsibility will depend on the known condition, applicable law, and whether Grass Guys used reasonable care. Utility marking, permits, and property permissions may require additional scheduling time.
8. Access, pets, safety, and worksite conditions
We may refuse work in areas with unsecured animals, threats, aggressive behavior, sharp debris, biological hazards, blocked access, unsafe slopes, standing water, hazardous chemicals, or conditions that threaten a person or property. We will not knowingly perform work outside the boundaries you are authorized to approve. Keep children and other bystanders clear of mowing, edging, cutting, and debris-handling equipment.
Unless you tell us otherwise and we confirm it, the customer need not be home for routine visits if safe and lawful access has been arranged. Our crews may use reasonable entry and exit routes to perform the agreed services.
9. Fertilizers, weed control, and special treatments
Pesticide or herbicide applications, including certain weed-control treatments, are not automatically part of ordinary lawn mowing. Any regulated application will be performed only when separately authorized and when required licenses, certifications, labeling, and other legal requirements are met. We may decline a treatment if the required authorization or qualifications are unavailable.
Customer instructions about chemical sensitivity, pets, gardens, wells, or protected plantings should be communicated before an authorized treatment. Treatment results can vary with site conditions and weather.
10. Estimates, Instant Quotes, and price confirmation
Our Grass Guys Instant Quote Center helps prospective customers request an estimate by providing property information, selecting services, and, where available, using map or satellite-based lawn measurements. Measurements, property boundaries, terrain, access, service areas, and selected options may be inaccurate or incomplete. A displayed estimate is a preliminary quote, not a binding promise to perform the work or provide a final price.
Final service eligibility, price, work scope, availability, and any visit frequency are subject to Grass Guys confirming the details. If the actual lawn area or conditions differ materially from the information provided, we will tell you about a proposed price or scope change and request approval before any additional chargeable work. Merely submitting an online quote request does not guarantee acceptance or schedule a visit unless separately confirmed.
Prices shown on a quote are governed by any stated expiration date, service assumptions, and exclusions. Extra work requires customer approval, and published promotions apply only under their disclosed terms.
11. Invoices, payment, and overdue balances
For an accepted service, customers agree to pay the price and any properly disclosed charges shown on the estimate or invoice. Each invoice will identify the amount owed, payment method, and due date. Deposits or special-order materials will be communicated separately before acceptance. No service visit is free solely because the company later stops future recurring service.
Past-due balances may lead to reminders and suspension or termination of future services, with reasonable notice where practical. Any late charge, returned-payment charge, or collection cost must have been lawfully disclosed and be allowed under applicable law; we do not impose undisclosed automatic fees. We do not charge or retain a saved payment method for new work without your authorization.
If you disagree with an invoice, contact us promptly so we can review the concern. An unresolved billing question does not erase undisputed payment obligations or statutory rights.
12. Pricing adjustments and requested changes
Our rates may change due to property size, work frequency, labor, materials, disposal costs, or site conditions. For recurring no-contract visits, we will communicate a price change before the affected visit and you may cancel future service rather than accept the new rate. We will not retroactively change the agreed price of completed work without your approval or a lawful basis.
Additional tasks, heavy debris removal, major overgrowth, unusual access limitations, and separate landscaping work may require a new estimate. We will seek authorization before proceeding with extras.
13. Licensed and insured
Grass Guys represents that it maintains applicable business licensing and insurance for its operations. Upon reasonable request, we can provide information concerning our licensing and coverage. The existence of an insurance policy does not mean every event or loss is covered; coverage is subject to policy terms and applicable law.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for personal injury, property damage, fraud, gross negligence, or any other matter to the extent exclusion is prohibited by law.
14. Property photographs and project documentation
For estimating, scheduling, quality review, dispute resolution, or service documentation, we may take limited photographs of the areas involved in the work. We will not publish identifiable customer property, private addresses, or people in marketing materials without appropriate permission. Review our Privacy Policy for more information about personal data.
15. Contact, reminders, and marketing messages
By giving us contact information, you authorize reasonable communications about your inquiry or existing service, such as scheduling, quotes, weather delays, payments, and service updates. Marketing email or texts are handled in accordance with applicable law, consent requirements, and opt-out rights. Unsubscribing from marketing does not necessarily stop essential service or invoice communications.
Our private Grass Guys Email System can use Google OAuth and the Gmail API to send authorized messages. It requests https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send to send email; it does not request permission to read Gmail inbox messages. 16. Instant Quote Center copyright and permitted use
© 2026 Grass Guys Lawn Care & Mulch. All rights reserved to the extent applicable. Our original website text, graphics, photographs owned by Grass Guys, user-interface design elements, and original software source code — including original elements of the Grass Guys Instant Quote Center — are protected by copyright where eligible. Third-party maps, imagery, software, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and remain subject to their own terms.
The Instant Quote Center is provided for genuine potential customers to evaluate Grass Guys services for properties they own, manage, or are authorized to request service for. Without prior written permission, users may not systematically harvest estimates, scrape or automate quote requests, reproduce protected code or designs, impersonate customers, interfere with security measures, overload endpoints, or use the tool to construct a competing database of Grass Guys price quotes. We may throttle, suspend, or block abusive traffic, subject to applicable law.
Copyright does not give us exclusive rights to the general idea of online lawn estimating, mathematical pricing formulas, methods, or functional processes. The restrictions above are website-use rules and do not assert copyright in concepts that the law leaves unprotected. Nothing prohibits ordinary lawful browsing, independent creation, or uses allowed by law.
17. Website access and third-party services
Do not access private administrative pages without permission, bypass security or rate limits, submit false customer identities, introduce harmful code, or disrupt website operations. Our site may depend on Google, maps, hosting, payment processors, and other services whose own terms and outages apply. Website and email delivery are not guaranteed to be continuous or error-free.
18. Service quality and reasonable limitations
We aim to provide professional service using reasonable care consistent with the agreed work scope. Natural grass, soil, trees, weather, prior yard conditions, and customer maintenance affect outcomes. Statements and photographs on our site illustrate examples and do not guarantee identical results for every property.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses caused by factors outside our reasonable control, but this does not limit rights relating to our negligence, willful misconduct, or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. No term here eliminates statutory consumer protections.
19. Concerns, corrections, and dispute resolution
Contact us at grassguys302@gmail.com or 302-657-1482 if you have a service concern or believe property was damaged. Include enough information for us to identify the visit and investigate. We will make a good-faith effort to review and respond.
These terms are governed by applicable Delaware law, subject to nonwaivable rights and any law that must apply to a particular customer or transaction. Nothing requires binding arbitration, waives a right to contact a regulator, or prevents a customer from seeking available remedies through the courts.
20. Updates, enforceability, and contact
We may update these general website terms prospectively and will post the revised date here. Updated terms will not retroactively change a previously accepted project price or cancel statutory rights. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder applies to the extent the law allows.
